Grain Of Salt Dubai- A Culinary Masterpiece

Grain of Salt from the house of Sanjeev Kapoor has opened its door in the Festival Plaza Jebel Ali recently. I happened to visit this place all because of the master chef himself. And was I disappointed? Of course not! The culinary art of the Internationally-renowned and award-winner chef Sanjeev Kapoor was very well reflected on the food served to us. Each plate of treats made me go awe-struck.

Ambience- Grain Of Salt

With subtle lighting, peaceful simplicity and elegant decors, the Grain Of Salt is an extremely relaxing place to dine-in. The classy ambience of the eatery also calls for a date night; however, the only flaw I noticed is that the restaurant is placed inside a mall. My visit was just after the lockdown period, so the mall was not crowded, but the usual Dubai crowd during weekends on malls are a bit overwhelming for me. In that case, I am not sure about a “peaceful” dine-in.

Food

In one word, the food was superb. Featuring a scrumptious range of delicious cuisines that mainly focuses on pleasing your eyes and taste palettes, Gran Of Salt is worth spending each penny. The food journey began with a pre-starter, then moved to the starter, main course and the desserts.

I have tried Chicken Almond Shorba soup (5/5), Bold green Salad (5/5), Quinoa Kebab (4/5), Tandoori Mushroom (4/5), Afghani Murgh Tikka (5/5), Tempered Lamb Chops (5/5), Khazana Chicken Seekh (5/5), Paneer Tikka Masala (5/5), Jeera Aloo (4/5), Delhi Butter Chicken (5/5), Nalli Rogan Josh (4/5), Lalla Mussa Dal (5/5), Murgh Matka Biriyani (5/5), Boondi Raita (5/5), Beery Phirni (5/5) and Gulab Jamun (3/5).

There is inclusivity for all types of crowd with huge varieties in vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. The artistically served food is perfect for your Instagram feed.
