Dining at Signature By Sanjeev Kapoor reminds me of being entertained in an elegant home with meticulously crafted cuisines. The traditional Indian dishes in this eatery have got a celebrity chef makeover, hence making this place a treasure trove of sensory delights. First of all, I was super excited to try the signature food from my all-time favorite Chef, Sanjeev Kapoor. I have been watching and admiring the videos of Sanjeev Kapoor since childhood. Yes, I am a 90s kid!

Located at Mankhool, Signature by Sanjeev Kapoor offers a pleasant experience that serves traditional yet inventive cuisines with innovative combinations and modern presentations.

Ambiance

Elegance personified- that is how I would like to describe the ambiance of Signature By Sanjeev Kapoor! The interiors are dark, with minimal lights and contemporary decors.

The hanging cloth lights from the ceiling give off a cozy, inviting glow. Even though the eatery gives an elegant vibe, you can be comfortable with the casuals as well.

On one side of the spacious hall is a door that lets you access their large outside patio.

As I waited for the food enjoying the cozy vibe of Signature by Sanjeev Kapoor, the Chef and other staff came out introduced themselves and gave me the menu telling me the specials for that day. One by one, they started serving my 11-course meal.

I started with Ragda Pattice Chaat (5/5), Mango Sphere(5/5), and Pani Puri(5/5). Mango Sphere was a unique experience for me. I felt it is a bigger version of booba balls.

For Soup, I had Murgh Makkai Ka Rabh (5/5), and for the starter, I had Herby Lamb Champey (4/5), Methi Chicken Tikka (5/5), Double Salmon(4/5), Corn Flakes and Curry Leaves Crusted Prawns (5/5).

For the mains, I had Butter Chicken (5/5), Dahi Vada Chicken (5/5), Nariyali Prawns(5/5), Dal Makhni (5/5), Paneer Pudina (5/5) with Indian Bread (5/5) and Steamed Rice.

For deserts, I had Charcoal Rasmalai (5/5) and Baked Yogurt (5/5).

The mocktails Charcoal Pina Colada (5/5), and Mango Passion Fruit Panna (5/5) were heavenly.

Hospitality (Signature By Sanjeev Kapoor)

I was attended by multiple persons, including the Chef with other staff (Umesh and Paul). Umesh was entertaining us with his jokes, whereas Paul was always briefing about the dishes and stories behind each meal.

The Chef was humble enough to come out and brief the overall menu. Moreover, they put on an exceptional show with the food served and keep us occupied throughout. Overall, I am very much impressed with their hospitality.
