Hook & Cook

Hook & Cook – An Ultimate Seafood Heaven

You might be gawking why I am mentioning the word “ultimate” here. Of course, I know that the word “ultimate” should be given to an eatery that is outstanding in all ways. Well, I can’t say this is the best restaurant in the whole world or anything, but Hook n cook has its own reasons to be the “ultimate.”
I haven’t seen a restaurant that did 100% justice to the theme they opted for the establishment. Starting from the name of the eatery to the bill book, everything in Hook and cook is sea themed.

Let’s examine deeper

  • The restaurant is located in the Palm Jumeirah facing the Persian Gulf. The outdoor seating meets the turquoise blue sea and Atlantis giving a marine vibe.
  • The blue colored restaurant has sea themed decors and accessories.
  • Even the cutlery and the table accessories matched the theme of the restaurant. Look at this seashells.

  • The food bill comes in a treasure box with fish decors. You will also find blue paper wrapped chocolates in it.

About The Staff

The staffs were like sea… Ok, I was just kidding!! The staffs are so friendly and warm. When I was being all messy eating the crab, the restaurant staff asked me “why don’t you eat with gloves?” and I said, “crab tastes better when eaten with hands.” And I liked his thumbs up gesture with that homely dialogue, “I also like to eat crab with hands.”

About The Food (Hook & Cook)

Hook & Cook

I hail from a coastal region, and I can really understand the freshness of the seafood served. In that case, hook and cook did justice to name by freshly hooking and cooking the seafood. However, the crab served to me was a bit overcooked.

Hook & Cook

We tried seafood bisque(4/5), hook and cook sampler (5/5), Mediterranean salmon(4.5/5), chili crab(3.5/5) and a coconut pie(5/5).

Overall it was a delicious marine experience and will visit to try more from their menu.
