Adorable, Cute, Appealing- synonyms are plenty for the Canteen Cafe. Located in the residential corner of Al Jurf, the cutest Canteen cafe serves some lip-smacking drinks with an appealing presentation. I agree with the fact that this Emirate has plenty of cutesy cafes, but the Canteen Cafe stole my heart. Do you know why? Read below

Ambience

This tiny coffee sanctuary is tucked away from the city hassles in an industrial area, definitely can be called “a hidden gem”. However, the eatery is small, probably made for takeaways, but they do have some space for seating. Two to three people can easily fit into this cafe. Though the shop is tiny, they have managed to make it minimal, cosy and welcoming. The yellow lights, little cactus and tiny spaces will definitely make you visit again. 

My friend and I had a really great time, chit-chatting!

Food (Canteen Cafe)

The menu is just the usual suspects with a twist. The Coconut Latte (5/5) served in the coconut shell, Rose Coffee (5/5) with real roses on it, Rose Dose (5/5) served in a test tube-like tumbler, the visually pleasing Sandwich Phrap (5/5)- everything served to me was delicious and quirky. My husband ate the roses as well! 

I absolutely loved the presentation of the drinks, which portrays the dedication of the team. 

I find a weird contradiction between the coconut shell that we throw after use and here it is being recycled and used to serve coffee.

The staffs are warm and friendly, and of course, they will recommend the mandatory drinks that you should try from the menu.  

Final Verdict Of Canteen Cafe

A marvellous cafe that serves delectable as well as Instragrammable drinks with a twist in presentation. This place is not advisable for hangouts as it is small in size but definitely worth for takeaways.
