Kerala is every foodie’s paradise, and so is mine! Nothing like diving into a plate of Kappa and spicy fish curry for a true blue Malayali like me.
Thanks to the vast Malayali expat community living in Dubai, there are plenty of restaurants to satisfy the gastronomical urges to Kerala food. From Malabari Biriyani to Kottayam Fish curry, the restaurants are all set to aid the Malayalis, to battle the twinge of homesickness. However, in the ocean of Malayali restaurants in Dubai, you might get confused about where to go and what to eat. If you are looking for the Best Kerala Restaurants In Dubai, then have a look at the eateries below.
You will go gaga over the fish varieties in this hotel. De Fish is by far my favorite Kerala restaurant in Dubai. Nestled in the busy streets of Karama, this eatery serves delicious Kerala cuisines. Samudra Sadhya is their signature dish which is served in the banana leaf and has fish items instead of vegetarian counterpart.
Must-Try: Samudra Sadhya, Tawa Fish Fry.

Calicut Paragon is one of the most popular Kerala restaurants in Dubai with a huge fan base. The restaurant is a haven for the nonvegetarian eaters, because of the variety of seafood items they serve. Make sure you reach early to grab a seat because it is so crowded all the time.
Must-Try: Chatti curry, Malabari Biriyani, Dancing Tea
Location: Shop 5, Ground Floor, Al Sharooq Building, Opposite Karama Park, Al Karama, Dubai
The average cost for two: AED 120
This eatery is so my taste! Because they serve sumptuous Travancore style food and I hail from the southern part of Kerala. I can find a huge similarity between my home-cooked meal and the food from Aaaramam’s kitchen. Just a matter of fact, their food is tastier.
Aaaramam is an economical deal among the Kerala restaurants in Dubai, that serves meals for only 10 AED.
Must-Try: Beef Ularthiyath and Fish items
Location: Ground Floor, Belhasa Building, Street 9 A, Al Karama, Dubai
The average cost for two: AED 60
Salkara (5 Best Kerala Restaurants In Dubai)
Salkara is another venture from the paragon group that serves scrumptious Kerala food. Based on classic recipes popular during the glorious 70s and 80s in Malabar, Salkara’s cuisine will give you a euphoric emotion on the first bite.
Must-Try: Fish curry and Appam
Location: Food Court, Beside Lulu Hypermarket, Qusais, Dubai

Paramount (5 Best Kerala Restaurants In Dubai)
Another restaurant in Karama that serves delicious Kerala Food.
Must-Try: Fish Items
Location: Shop 1, Al Shafar Building, 12 D Street, Opposite Karama Municipality, Al Karama, Dubai
The average cost for two: AED 90
The southern part of Kerala (where I hail from) lacks good hotels. In that case, Dubai is a wonderful Kerala food treat! I hope the competition (to serve the best food) between the hotels stay the same so that we can enjoy the delicious food without worries.
